Hi! My name is Mary and I am the designer of the Sidewinder Mittens pattern. All my patterns are written in English and use American English terms.

These mittens are crocheted with a #3 light yarn. They are crocheted starting from the top and working in a continual spiral. The ribbing is created using post stitches and the thumb is crocheted in the round and closed at the top.

Basic knowledge of crochet stitches are required for this pattern. I would consider this pattern advanced beginner.
