This is an original beanie pattern designed by me (Mary). All my patterns are written in English using American crochet terms. Knowledge of basic stitches are required for this pattern.

The stitch sequence used in this beanie pattern in the same sequence used in the matching Hopewell Scarf. It is a great beginner beanie because this pattern is not worked in the round, which can be tricky for beginners.

This beanie is crocheted using Bernat Velvet yarn. It is a #5 bulky weight yarn that is super soft an plush!
