This is an original beanie pattern designed by me (Mary). All my patterns are written in English using American crochet terms. Basic crochet skills and stitches required for this pattern.

This beanie is crocheted using the fair isle single crochet stitch. This pattern includes a link to a video tutorial that explains the fair isle crochet stitch. This technique provides and fun and interesting colorwork design that can be used in any color combination you like! The pattern is written with the colors you see in the photo.

This beanie is crocheted in the round using primarily the single crochet stitch. The band is crocheted first, then the body. It is then cinched at the top and a pom-pom can be added!
